Drawing Down the Moon

Action/Drama
Role: Joe Merchant
Synopsis: "...tells the story of an eccentric young woman who moves to a small town to start a homeless shelter. Her beliefs (she's a witch) and progressive ideas for the community bring her into conflict with both the respectable townsfolk and the local criminal element. The plot centers around her battle to rally the homeless people in the community to keep the shelter alive in the face of ever-escalating opposition. Most of the action stems from her ongoing battles with the thugs of the local "crime lord," played by Walter Koenig." (from the official site)

or You're Never Alone When You're Schizophrenic
  Comedy
Role: Chekov/Himself, WRITER
Synopsis: A hilarious debate between Chekov and Koenig, over the pros and cons of living life as a real human life, or as a heroic alter-ego. Icarah tells me he performs it often at conventions.

SciFi/Action
Role: Colonel Jason Grant
Synopsis: The daring and adventurous shuttle pilot Grant discovers a 14 thousand year old alien ship in space. He is chosen to explore the moon in search of its launch base, and is eventually forced to prevent an alien invasion of earth.

Best Line: "You call this adventure? Come on, I'm a truck driver."
Best Scene: A stereotypically female response, perhaps, but I liked the scene with Jason at home with his son. I would have preferred more dialog and character development, and less shooting and heavy space-suit breathing.
Rated: R
